SHIN Announces Solo Debut

SHIN, formerly the vocalist for ViViD, has announced plans to launch a solo career. The vocalist will make his debut at a live show on December 24th at Roppongi EX Theater. In addition, SHIN has opened a new official website and updated Twitter account. The website includes seven sample audio tracks that showcase his new sound.

PSC Company Special Airs 3/8

A "PEACE & SMILE PARADE DREAM LIVE" special program will air on the Nico Nico Live website on March 8. The program will be hosted by Takuya Hoshino, and will include appearances by select members of BORN, ViViD, Kra, D=OUT, Rave, and the LOTUS. The show starts at 16:00 JST (convert time here), and time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered members who cannot watch the show as it airs.

PS Company Live DVD Release 2/21

PS Company has decided to release a live DVD on February 21 as part of sales at Takadanobaba AREA. The DVD titled "Kougeki ha Saidai no Bougyo Nari -OFFENSE IS THE BEST DEFENSE-" features performances from bands and artists managed by the company that took place during a live carnival event at Olympus Hall Hachioji on April 5, 2015. ViViD Final DVD Release 8/26

ViViD will be releasing one final live DVD on August 26. The DVD will be titled "ViViD FINAL LIVE 'CROSSING OF THE DREAM'," and it will feature footage from their April 29th show at Pacifico Yokohama.

WHITE JUDAS Project Start-up Announced

WHITE JUDAS, a new project for vocalist Shin (ex-ViViD), has just announced startup activities. The act will appear at the August 5 V-NATION LIVE show along with SuG, A9, BugLug, Sadie, and vistlip. There is also an official Twitter account for fans to follow announcements.

RENO Solo Single Available on iTunes

RENO, guitarist formerly of ViViD, has just released his first solo single. The new release, titled "GUITAR LIFE," contains three instrumental guitar tracks and is available to purchase through iTunes. It sells for $3.89 in the US store; check local listings for prices in other countries. Sample tracks of these and other songs are available on the guitarist's official home page.

ROCK AND READ Lineup Revealed

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 059, due to hit stores April 27. The front cover artist for this issue will be Mahiro (Kiryu), and the back cover artist will be Shin (ViViD). Other featured artists will be:  Shuuji (cali≠gari), Yusuke (lynch.), Koichi (MEJIBRAY), Leda (Far East Dizain), Kei (DIAURA), TAKUMA (GUILD), Chobi (DIV), TOMO (BORN), Natsu (NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST), and THE CHARISMA feature of kyo (D'ERLANGER).

ViViD Announced Disbandment

ViViD announced today via their OHP that they will be disbanding. In an announcement signed by company director Tomomi Ozaki, the band states that they have decided that their last performance will be the April 29th show at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall. They apologize for the sudden announcement. Each member also makes a statement thanking fans for their support. ViViD began activities in April 2009.

ViViD to Perform at Orlando Nerd Fest & Cancelled Performances

It has just been announced that ViViD will be performing at the Orlando Nerd Fest. The event takes place from August 7-11 at the Orlando Airport Marriott in Orlando, Florida. This event will mark the band's first performance in the U.S. Visit the event page for more details.

It has also been announced that four performances covering the next couple of weeks have been cancelled. Shows scheduled for Fukuoka, Namba, Nagoya, and Sapporo have been cancelled due to a hand injury for drummer Ko-ki. The musician had been experiencing discomfort in his wrist and hip since the band's tour in February, but the pain became acute during a recent rehearsal. A doctor determined that the musician had an injured ligament in his wrist, and that he would need to allow at least two weeks' rest for treatment and recovery. As a consequence, the band decided to cancel the four shows scheduled during that time to allow for his recovry. Full band statements can be found on the OHP.

ViViD New Release Updates

ViViD have announced that they will release a new single and album in 2014. On February 5, the band will release a new single titled "Hikari," and it will be released in four types. Track listings and type details are available on the band's OHP. Then on February 26, they will release a new album titled "THE PENDULUM."
