THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S English-Version PV

THE MICRO HEAD 4N'S have an English-version PV available from their official YouTube channel. The new version of the PV for the song titled "Deeper Than Black ~Yamiiro no Tsubasa~" features the lyrics in English subtitled across the bottom of the video. This would seem to be one more step toward reaching out to a wider overseas audience, following the creation of a Facebook page with updates and video comments for fans in English.

Plastic Tree New Single Release 6/21

Plastic Tree have announced that they will release another new single for their major debut 20th anniversary year. The new single will be titled "Uchuu Yuuei," and it will be released in two types on June 21st. Track details are available on the band's OHP.

Kiryuuin Sho Live PV Available on YouTube

Zany Zap has added a new video featuring Golden Bomber's Kiryuuin Sho to its official YouTube channel. The new video features a live stage version of the vocalist's performance of "Natsu no Hi no 1993." He will be releasing a new cover album titled "Oni Cover 90's" on May 24 that will include 14 song tracks. Details are in the video's comments area.

MUCC Members Named Hometown Ambassadors

Two cities in Ibaraki Prefecture have new hometown ambassadors. In a private ceremony that will take place on May 1, 2017 in Mito City, MUCC members Miya and YUKKE will be named hometown ambassadors for their hometown of Ishioka City, and Tatsuro and SATOchi will be named ambassadors for their hometown of Mito City. This is the first time in the history of the two cities that they have held a ceremony together to appoint ambassadors. The band hopes they can continue to promote their cities through their activities.

VANIRU Announces Guitarist Departure

VANIRU have announced through social media that guitarist YUTO will be leaving the group. The band has been on activity pause since August for an undisclosed illness that affected YUTO, and the guitarist has decided that continuing activities at this time would be too difficult. They apologize for waiting so long to make the decision, and thank fans for their continued support. Vocalist LEONEIL does not intend to stop activities and hopes that he can continue VANIRU activities as scheduled in the future.

Arlequin New DVDs & Single Release

Arlequin has two new releases coming up in the next couple of months. On May 3, the band will release two new live DVDs, "2016.10.23 47 Todoufuken ONEMAN TOUR FINAL -Kyoukai-sen- Zepp DiverCity" and "2016.4.2 Kizu x Tsukeru TOUR FINAL -Ketsubetsu- @Akasaka BLITZ." On June 7, the band will release their 11th single, titled "Kachikan no Chigai wa Yuitsu no Sukui Datta." Track details and a video spot are available on the band's OHP.

JEALKB has announced that they will be releasing  a new full album on July 19. The new album will be titled "IDENTITY," but no other details about it have been released yet. In addition, the band is inviting fans to design a jacket for the release that captures the spirit of a place where you belong that shows your existence. Omnibus Album Features Nagoya Bands

A new omnibus album featuring several bands working in the Nagoya area will be released on July 5. The release will be titled "Yogenkyo -NAGOYA- vol.1 Owari V Kei Ongen Shu," and it will include song selections from bands like ASTARIA, UNDER FALL JUSTICE, Sibilebashir, DEVIZE, dexcore, TRA TRA TRA, Merry Bad End, Lucifer's underground, Rei Rei, and Roub.

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 071, due to hit stores April 28. The front cover artist for this issue will be Mao (SID), and the back cover artist will be J. Chanty Guitarist Arrested

Chanty announced via their website that guitarist shia. was arrested on April 12. The matter is still being investigated, so no details have been released. However, due to the arrest, the band states that they will not be doing band activities at this time. Currently scheduled shows and in-store events will likely be postponed or cancelled until the matter is resolved. They apologize to fans.

Smileberry Loses Three Members & Best Album

Smileberry announced via their OHP that due to differences in opinions about the future of the band, three members will be leaving after their live at Shibuya REX on May 31. Guitarist Paru, bassist Yuna, and drummer Charlie plan to leave the band. The statement does not elaborate on what the remaining members will do, nor does it details the future plans for Smileberry. In addition, the band has plans to release a best album titled "Hayazumi berrys" on May 10.

DIMLIM New Band & Album

DIMLIM has announced that they will begin live activities at Ikebukuro BlackHole on June 3. This newly formed band has also released their first full-version PV for a song titled "Aharewata" on their official homepage, and they have announced that they will release a mini album titled "VARIOUS" on June 3. While visual band Nightmare is on break, vocalist Yomi has announced plans to participate in a project called TAKE NO BREAK. As part of the project, the vocalist will be called Jun. Other members include U.K. on guitar, Tomo (a.k.a. En'ya of More, 12012, and G.∀.M.E) on bass, and Death-O on drums. Their first live will be on July 11at Sendai MACANA, and their debut single will be released in July. No exact details have been announced yet.

ALSDEAD Returns As AllS

Members of ALSDEAD have returned to the stage, this time under the name AllS. AllS debuted with a live show on April 1 at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA SABER TIGER. No official website seems to exist yet, but they do have an official Twitter for fans to follow. ALSDEAD announced an indefinite hiatus in 2015.

Kra to Make First U.S. Appearance

the LOTUS Announces Disbandment

the LOTUS has included a notice on their OHP that they will disband after their live show at Yotsuya LOTUS on April 26. The statement says that after bassist Tsubasa decided to leave the band, the rest of the group met and decided that disbandment was the best option. Guitarist Rian left the band last June.

SIRENE, featuring the solo works of MARTHA, released their first full album on January 16. The album, titled "TESTAMENT~I'm not DIVA~" is now available to purchase and download via iTunes in the U.S. The album includes 11 songs and sells for $11.99 in the U.S. store.
