New Band Announcement: vigorous

A new band called vigorous has just formed in Osaka. The band's debut performance will be October 10 at Shinsaibashi paradigm. Members include Mochi (ex-FANG) on vocals, Sho on guitar, and Nobu (ex-FANG) on bass. Drum support will be provided by Shogo. Fans can follow them on Twitter.

Kra PV Spot on YouTube

PS Company has added another video for Kra to its official YouTube channel. The new video features audio sample tracks from the band's upcoming "Uchuu Traveler" mini album, out September 19th. The video also features a short clip taken from the band's PV for the title song "Uchuu Traveler."

PS Company has added a new video for Kra to its official YouTube channel. The new video features audio track samples from the band's upcoming "Uchuu Traveler" mini album, due out in stores on September 14. In addition, the video includes a lyric video for the song "Ryuusei Signal."

Zin New Single Release 9/28

Zin will be releasing their 10th single on September 28. The new single will be titled "Homura no Tomoshibi" and it will include two songs and a PV. Track details and a PV sample are available on the band's OHP.

Magistina Saga New Single Release 10/26

Magistina Saga will be releasing a new single on October 26. The new single will be titled "Phalaenopsis," and it will be released in two types. Details are available on the Starwave Records online shopping site.

Bakuretsu! Nightmare Show Airs 9/20

Nightmare's next appearance on their Nico Nico web show, "Bakuretsu! Nightmare," will be September 20. The show airs at 21:00 JST (convert time here). Nico Nico registered members may time shift for later viewing if they cannot watch the live show as it airs.

Golden Bomber Show Airs 9/28

Golden Bomber members will appear in their regular "Gekkan Golden Bomber" Nico Nico show on September 28. This show will begin at 22:00 JST (convert time here). Registered Nico Nico members may time shift for later viewing if they are not able to watch the show as it airs.

Kra and Sibilebashir will be the next featured guests on the web show called "Nico Viju." The show airs on the Nico Nico Live site on August 30 starting at 16:00 JST (time zone converter). Time shifting is available for registered Nico Nico users who can't watch the show as it airs. This show is hosted by Takuya Hoshino.

Arlequin have announced that they will be releasing a new single on November 16. The new doesn't yet have a title, but it will be released in two types. Track details also are not yet available.

Villers la ville Member Announcement

Villers la ville's bassist Pochi made an announcement via his Twitter that he would be leaving the band. He states that balancing his work and his band activities had become too difficult to continue, and this was the decision he made while thinking of the future of the band. There is no information about the musician's final performance.

BugLug will be releasing a new live DVD on September 14. The new DVD will be titled "GO TO SICKS," and it will be released in two types. It was reported in July that vocalist Issei had been discharged from the hospital and was undergoing rehabilitation treatment. Resumption of band activities depends upon the course of his treatment.

Rides in ReVellion Makes US Debut

Rides in ReVellion will be the headlining musical act at this year's Anime USA convention in Washington, DC. The convention takes place October 21-23, 2016 at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC. This will be the Osaka band's overseas debut. V STAR PROMOTION has opened a web shop that make materials and goods from certain Osaka bands available for the first time to overseas fans. Fans of  Azlina, ART ELICIA, BLAZE, BLESSCODE, Devilroof, MORRIGAN, and Rides in ReVellion can now find CDs and some goods available online to purchase. The company is run by a native English speaker and a Japanese speaker who want to promote knowledge of and access to visual kei bands. Viva Rush New Video Spot on YouTube

Kerberos Entertainment has added a new video for Viva Rush to its official YouTube channel. The new video features a full-version sound recording for the band's song titled "Toushindai Dreamer." That song will appear on the band's first maxi single, "Merry-Merry-Merry-Go!!-Round☆", due out on September 7.

DIV Announce Disbandment

In a special announcement today, DIV have announced that they will be disbanding after their DIV ONEMAN LIVE 2016 "DIVE!!!" show at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall on October 10. In a surprise announcement, they state that members Chobi and Satoshi decided to leave the band, and that the final decision was to disband the group. The announcement also states that the members may still individually pursue music as a career in the future. A translated statement can be found on the DIV Facebook page, and individual member statements in Japanese can be found on the band's OHP.

BORN Video Spot on YouTube

BORN uploaded a new video to its official BORNTube channel. The video feature a teaser trailer for the bands last onemand live DVD "SUPER BLACK MARKET," due to be released on August 22. That features their 8th anniversary special oneman live show on May 26th at Zepp DiverCity.

Matenrou Opera New Best Album & Mini Album Release 10/19

Matenrou Opera have announced that they will be releasing a new best album and a new mini album on October 19. The new release will be released simultaneously in two forms. The "Matenrou Opera ~BEST & CLIPS~" version will include 14 song tracks and a Blu-ray featuring 13 music videos. The "Matenrou Opera ~BEST & REQUEST~" version will include the same 14-song CD with an additional CD featuring the top 10 songs requested by fans. Additionally, the band will release a new 6-song mini album, as yet untitled.

ROCK AND READ 067 Artists Revealed

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 067, due to hit stores August 26. The front cover artist for this issue will be Uruha (the GazettE), and the back cover artist will be Hazuki (lynch.). Other featured artists include Aiji (LM.C), KOKI (INKT), Byo (SCREW), Reika (D=OUT), Hiro (NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST), meN-meN (Codomo Dragon), Taku (Pentagon), Arai Takayuki (LIPHLICH), YUKITO (Raphael), and IKUO (BULL ZEICHEN 88).
