KHRYST+ New Band Announcement

A new website has appeared for a new band calling itself KHRYST+. The website features a countdown clock set to finish around July 30th, the words "With the Passion and Resurrection, KRHYST＋ rises," and a mysterious visual with most members shrouded in shadow and smoke. One familiar face has already been revealed as the band's vocalist--Byo, formerly vocalist for SCREW. Their first live will be on November 1 at TSUTAYA O-WEST.

REVIVE Project Special Event

Some well-known faces on the visual scene will be coming together for a special even project called REVIVE. Vocalist Mao (ex-Sadie, the THIRTEEN), guitarist MiA (ex-Mejibray), guitarist SARSHI (ex-Hero), bassist Tomoyuki Enya (ex-12012), and drummer Jin (ex-SCREW) will come together on April 15 for a live event at Shibuya DESEO. New visuals for the members are also available.

SCREW Last DVD Release Information

SCREW will be releasing one final DVD before the band disbands. The new DVD will be titled "SCREW LAST LIVE TOUR 'BREATHE ONE’S LAST BREATH...' 2016.11.01 AT TSUTAYA O-EAST" and it will sell for 10,000 JPY in the PS Company Online store. Pre-ordering will be available from November 1 to December 1 this year, with early shipping beginning in February 2017.

ROCK AND READ 067 Artists Revealed

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 067, due to hit stores August 26. The front cover artist for this issue will be Uruha (the GazettE), and the back cover artist will be Hazuki (lynch.). Other featured artists include Aiji (LM.C), KOKI (INKT), Byo (SCREW), Reika (D=OUT), Hiro (NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST), meN-meN (Codomo Dragon), Taku (Pentagon), Arai Takayuki (LIPHLICH), YUKITO (Raphael), and IKUO (BULL ZEICHEN 88).

SCREW Announces Disbandment

SCREW has announced via their OHP that they will be disbanding after their live show at Tsutaya O-EAST on November 1. They thank fans for supporting them over the past 10 years, and apologize for the sad news. No specific plans for the future are given, but in individual member statements, guitarist Manabu says that he will be leaving the stage for good.

SCREW Best Album Release 3/30

SCREW will release their 10th anniversary best album on March 30. The new release will be titled "Brilliant," and it will be issued in three special multi-disc types. Full track details are available on the band's OHP.

PS Company Live DVD Release 2/21

PS Company has decided to release a live DVD on February 21 as part of sales at Takadanobaba AREA. The DVD titled "Kougeki ha Saidai no Bougyo Nari -OFFENSE IS THE BEST DEFENSE-" features performances from bands and artists managed by the company that took place during a live carnival event at Olympus Hall Hachioji on April 5, 2015. stylish wave COUNTDOWN '15-'16 Airs 12/31

A "stylish wave COUNTDOWN '15-'16" live special will air on the Nico Nico Live website on December 31. The stylish wave show will include appearances by D=OUT, GOTCHAROCKA, SCREW, BORN, Black Gene for the Next Scene, Grieva, Jin, AvelCain, Belle, Gigamous, ensoku, Kuroyuri to Kage, RoNo☆Cro, Smileberry, and Shounenki. The show starts at 15:30 JST (convert time here), and time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered members who cannot watch the show as it airs.

SCREW's drummer Jin has added some new videos to his YouTube channel. The new videos show aerial views of him as he plays drums for songs like "Blood Sucking Freak," "S=r&b," "NO PAIN NO GAIN," and more.

SCREW have announced that they will release a new album sometime in 2016. The new album will be a 10th anniversary best release titled "Brilliant," but no other details or exact release date are available yet.

Yasutaka Shiobara New Mini Album Release 9/16

Yasutaka Shiobara, formerly known as Rui from SCREW, has just announced that he will be releasing a mini album on September 16. The mini album will be titled "-overture-," and it will include six song tracks. A new PV featuring the title track is now available on the artist's YouTube channel.

SCREW Nico Nico Appearance 8/4

SCREW will be a featured guest band on the next episode of "Danzen!! LIVE." That show airs on the Nico Nico website on August 4 at 20:00 JST (convert time here). Time shifting is available for registered site users who can't watch the show as it airs.

SCREW New Release Videos on YouTube

SCREW has released two new videos on the TOKUMAJAPAN official YouTube channel. The new videos include a 1:39 minute audio sample of the songs included on the band's upcoming "Kakusei" release on August 19, and a full-version video for their new song "OVER THE HORIZON."

SCREW New DVD Release 6/28

SCREW have announced that they will be releasing a new live DVD on June 28. The new DVD will be titled "SCREW TOUR 2014 INNER PSYCHOLOGICAL WORLD [TOUR FINAL] 2014.12.28 AT AiiA Theater Tokyo," and it will be released in two types. The limited edition is available only to members of the band's SIESTA fan club, and the regular edition will be sold in limited quantities from the PSC online store and at live venues. SCREW have announced that they will be releasing a new mini album on August 19. The new release will be titled "Kakusei," and it will have two types. Track details aren't available, but each version will include five songs and a DVD.

SCREW Scheduled for Anime Friends 2015

SCREW has announced that they will appear at Anime Friends 2015 in São Paulo, Brazil. The band is scheduled to appear on July 10 at the Palco Principal. Anime Friends takes place July 10-12 and 17-19 at Campo de Marte in São Paulo. Details can be found on the Anime Friends website.
