An Cafe has announced that they plan to release a new live DVD on March 27. The new DVD titled "ANCAFESTA '12 SUMMER DIVE -Daikoukai Jidai-" includes performance from the band's recent re-start tour as well as bonus footage. Track listings and other details are not yet available.

Utahiroba Jun YouTube Program Airs 2/6

Golden Bomber's Utahiroba Jun broadcast the fourth episode of his web talk show on January 30. The program called "Junko's Room" aired on the Zany Zap Official YouTube Channel, and the featured guest for the show was Aiji from LM.C.

The next episode of "Junko's Room" will air at on February 6, with a featured guest of Kohichi, the drummer from GUILD.

DALATH Limited Release CD Pre-order Available

On January 26, DALATH began accepting pre-orders for their first CD release. The new album, called "The Rust," will be released worldwide in a limited run of 1000 copies. The new album will be released on February 2. Full details regarding the release, tracks, special extras, and a link to the selling site can be found on the band's Official Facebook page.

PSC to Terminate SuG Sites 1/31

PSC has announced via SuG's Official Facebook page that they will be deleting all SuG fan sites on January 31 at 18:00 JST. The band announced at the end of 2012 that they would be canceling their contract with PSC management and entering a temporary hiatus to allow time to reorganize. The recent PSC announcement states that the management company will be deleting SuG's OHP, PS Mobile, Global PS Company Fan Club contents, Ameba and Mobage blogs, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.

Presents and fan letters will be delivered to the band only until the January 31 deadline, so PSC asks that fans refrain from sending items after that date. They will not answer questions about members after that date. As soon as new contact information for the members is available, they will release further updates.

Awake 3 Consecutive Months of Releases

Awake has just released the first of three consecutive months of single releases. "Kuro Amedama x Suicide" was released in two types on January 16. The second release will be "Sweet★Noiz★Scandal?" which will hit stores on February 20. The final release, "Tresure⇔POP⇔SHOW," will be issued on March 20.

Golden Bomber's Utahiroba Jun broadcast the third episode of his new web talk show on January 23. The program called "Junko's Room" aired on the Zany Zap Official YouTube Channel, and the featured guest for the show was HAKUEI, vocalist for Penicillin.

Alice Nine Single Details Released

Alice Nine has recently updated their OHP to show the band's new look for the upcoming "Daybreak" single, to be released March 20. There is also a new page devoted to the single that announces the available types and contents. The band will be releasing the single in seven types, each including two new tracks with one more bonus feature that is either a live song track or live DVD video from their "Alice Nine Live 2012 Court of “9”＃4 Grand Finale COUNTDOWN LIVE" on December 31. AND made an important announcement on their OHP to let fans know of their decision to disband. The band's last performance together will be April 20 at Shibuya O-EAST. AND is very thankful for the support they've gotten from their fans through the years, and they apologize for the sudden announcement. Members cite a desire to move in different musical directions as the leading factor in the decision.

BORN's Bassist to Take Temporary Break

In a surprise announcement on the BORN OHP, PSC announced that bass player Kifumi will take a short break from band activity after the live show at Shibuya Club Quattro on February 23. As a result, the band will break from activities until March 16. The reason given for the sudden pause was "personal reasons," seemingly an undisclosed family issue. While they apologize for the inconvenience and worry the announcement may cause, the band promises to deliver their best performances for the coming lives. Kifumi looks forward to a speedy return.

Plastic Tree New DVD Release 3/20

Plastic Tree will be releasing a new live DVD on March 20. The DVD will be titled "Major Debut Jyugo Shunen 'Jyunen' 'Hide and Seek' -Tsuikai Koen -", and it will be issued in two limited edition versions--"Hide" and "Seek". The videos feature performances from the band's 15 anniversary show at Tokyo Dome City Hall on December 28, 2012.

Nightmare OHP Updates & Facebook

Nightmare has made several updates to their OHP, and their Staff have created an Official Facebook fan page for the band. As well as including the band's new look for the upcoming "SCUMS" album, the updated page also includes a special site created specifically for the album. Band Feature: NINJAMAN JAPAN

NINJAMAN JAPAN is a 5-member band from Tokyo. Current members include SARINO (vo.), Lida (gt.), DAISHI (gt.), Metal (ba.), and Pinky (dr.). The originally formed in 2008 with Metal, Lida, and SARINO, but after going through many changes along the way, they decided to officially form again on November 1, 2012. Support guitarist DAISHI, performing with the band since June 2012, joined as an official member on January 1, 2013.

They have a concept of hard and heavy music with dramatic performances that include elements of ninja, sentai, and stage-combat choreographed by a specialist. They are managed by Akemi Oshima, journalist and promoter of visual kei events.

NINJAMAN JAPAN released their first mini album, "Shinobi," in March 2010 through NMJ RECORDS, followed by a second mini album, "Zan," in June 2011. Prior to their official re-start in 2012, the band released a new single in August titled "Fly away," which appeared several times as the ending theme for the Viju☆Love☆Cafe web program. They also contributed a cover of "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio to the "V-ROCK Disney" compilation album released in 2011, and they were featured on the fourth volume of "Visual-kei DVD Magazine" in 2010, where SARINO did the opening music.

NINJAMAN JAPAN recently traveled to the UK to perform at the Hyper Japan event.

New Web Program for Utahiroba Jun

Golden Bomber's Utahiroba Jun is trying out a new side-project as talk host for his own web show. The program called "Junko's Room" aired its first episode on January 9 via the Zany Zap Official YouTube Channel. The featured guest for the show was YOMI, vocalist for Nightmare, who gave Jun a sneak peak at the new PV for the song "ASSaulter" from the upcoming "SCUMS" album.

DIAURA New Releases

DIAURA has already announced that they will be issuing two new releases soon. The first release will be the band's fifth single, "Whiteness," on February 20. The single will include a one-track CD and a DVD of the music video. The next release will be the band's second mini-album, "REBORN," on March 13. The mini album will be released in three types.

HERO New Single Release 2/13

HERO will be releasing a new single on February 13. The new single will be called "Soutaiseiriron," and it will be released in three types--Limited A, Limited B, and Regular. Full track lists and sales details are not yet available. HERO just released a live DVD titled "20120825 LIVE in SHIBUYA-AX" on December 12, 2012.

R-Shitei New Single Release 1/9

Finishing up three consecutive months of releases, R-Shitei will be releasing another single on January 9. The new single, "Slow Days," will be released in two types. The band will have their Tour Final performance of their current "R-shitei Oneman Tour 2012-2013 -Dogra Magra Dogma-" on January 14.

D New Anniversary Album Release 4/7

D will be releasing a 10th anniversary album on April 7. The "10th Anniversary GOD CHILD RECORDS Best Selection 'Treasure Box'," will be issued as a special boxed set including two CDs and one DVD. Track listings for songs and videos are available from the band's OHP news page.

BugLug New Singles Released 3/20

BugLug has announced plans to release three new singles on March 20. The new singles will be titled "R.I.P," "BUKIMI," and "Live to Love" and will come with trading cards. Track listings and sales details are not yet available.

Miyavi Album on US iTunes

Miyavi's latest collaboration album has been released on iTunes in the United States. The guitarist's latest, titled "Samurai Sessions, Vol. 1," was released on the popular download site on November 14, 2012, and includes seven tracks. The normal version of this album retails for $6.99. For other countries, check local listings for availability.

N@H Special Airs 1/17

N@H will appear in a special Nico Nico Live web program on January 17. The K-Station program titled "Habatake!! N@H no Mokuyoubi do Naishi yo? ~Budoukan e no Michi~" will air at 22:00 JST (convert time here), and time shifting will be available for Nico Nico registered users who cannot watch the show as it airs.

Kra & Moran on MJP TV 1/29

musicJAPANplus will host a special program featuring both Kra and Moran on January 29. Each band will have their own special feature before they appear together. The program will begin airing at 20:00 JST (convert time here) via the MJP USTREAM channel.

BORN Short Clips on MJP TV Site

musicJAPANplus currently features a video comment series from BORN on their video page. In each monthly episode of the "Black Theory Movie Star" videos, a band member answers a question posed by the band member who appeared during the previous month's clip. The video series began airing in January 2012 with drummer TOMO, and the most recent clip featuring Ryoga appeared on December 20, 2012. musicJAPANplus staff has conveniently translated the clips into English for fans. Viewing with a Firefox browser is recommended.

Alice Nine New Releases for 2013

As a bit of Happy New Year news for Alice Nine fans, the band announced that they will be releasing three consecutive months of singles, starting in March 2013. First up will be a single called "Daybreak". No other details are available at this time, but the OHP promises updates are coming soon.
