Codomo Dragon New Single Release 11/7

Codomo Dragon has announced that they will release their 15th single on November 7. The new single will be titled "Soso" and it will be released in four types. Track details aren't available yet.

Codomo Dragon DVD Spot

B.P. Records has added a new video featuring Codomo Dragon to its official YouTube channel. The new upload includes a video spot for the band's upcoming "12th Oneman Tour Final" live DVD filmed during their show on May 3rd. That DVD will hit stores on October 3.

Message from the Editor

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will no longer be able to add regular posts to this blog. I will still post periodically as I see news from bands I personally follow, but I will not be able to keep up with the research it takes to find and translate information from other bands to make daily posts. I regret this because my goal for this blog hasn't changed; I still want to raise awareness of visual kei bands to overseas audiences. To this end, my blog and Twitter will remain open, and you will still see a weekly Oricon post every Wednesday. I do still follow a fair number of bands, so information about those will still be posted. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, and I'm happy if this blog has helped fans all over the world discover new bands or keep up with current ones. Thank you for following me for all these years.

La'veil MizeriA New Video on YouTube

Starwave Records has added a new video for La'veil MizeriA to its official YouTube channel. The new upload features a full-verson MV for the band's song "INSOMNIA." The song appears on the band's third single, "Akai Ito," released July 18.

vistlip Music Streaming Overseas

vistlip has announced that their music can now be found on two popular streaming services overseas. vistlip fans can now find the band's music available via Apple Music and Spotify. They have also added a new video digest of several recent songs.

Shellmy New Video on YouTube

Shellmy has added a new video to their official YouTube channel. The upload features a lyric video for the song titled "Uwasa." That song appears on the band's third mini album, "Uzumaki." Lryics are available in the video's description area.

Metronome New DVD Release 12/21

King Records has announced that Metronome will be releasing a new live video set on December 21. The new video does not yet have a title, but it features the group's 20th anniversary performance at Toyosu PIT on September 1. It will feature footage from the tour and the final, and it will be released in both DVD and Blu-ray formats.

Zombie New Single Release 10/23

Zombie has announced that they will release a new single on October 23. The new single will be a double-A side CD titled "We Are Zombie/Kurenai," and it will be released in three types. Track details are available on the band's OHP.

Kra Loses Two Members

Kra updated their OHP with news that two members will be leaving the band. Guitarist Taizo and drummer Yasuno have announced plans to leave the band after their performance at Mynavi BLITZ Akasaka Kouen on January 25, 2019. The band and staff have talked about the request to withdraw, and they ultimately concluded it was best for each member to do what they wanted. They apologize for the sudden announcement and thank fans for their continued support.

In individual statements, no member indicated a desire to retire from music. Taizo states that he has felt the desire to go his own way for two years because he felt a gap in band values and priorities. Yasuno states that his future goals also have changed from Kra's current path. Vocalist Keiyuh and bassist Yuhra both state they'd like to continue and grow as Kra. Yasuno has been with the band for 17 years, and Taizo has been a member for seven years.

Kra still has plans to release their final album together on October 31. That release does not yet have a name, but it will be issued in two types.

Develop One's Faculties New Single Release 10/10

Develop One's Faculties will release a new single on October. The new release will be titled "Schadenfreude," and it will contain two song tracks. Details are available on the band's OHP.
