the LOTUS Announces Disbandment

the LOTUS has included a notice on their OHP that they will disband after their live show at Yotsuya LOTUS on April 26. The statement says that after bassist Tsubasa decided to leave the band, the rest of the group met and decided that disbandment was the best option. Guitarist Rian left the band last June.

stylish wave COUNTDOWN 16-17 Airs 12/31

A "stylish wave COUNTDOWN '16-'17" live special will air on the Nico Nico Live website on December 31. The stylish wave show will include appearances by Gigamous, ViV, Grieva, Kuroyuri to Kage, Anfiel, exist†trace, Chanty, Belle, Kra, Sick2, the LOTUS, Amai Boryoku, LACK-CO., Zin, and Purple Stone. The show starts at 15:30 JST (convert time here), and time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered members who cannot watch the show as it airs.

the LOTUS Announce Departure of Guitarist

the LOTUS have announced via their OHP that guitarist Rian will be leaving the band after their September 25 live. The announcement cites differences between members as the primary reason for the departure, and that after much discussion, this was the ultimate decision. They understand that this announcement is disappointing to everyone, including themselves. the LOTUS will continue activities in the future with the remaining four members.

Editor's Note: I just noticed that Rian posted on Twitter that he's sorry to make the fans who cheered for him sad, but he chose to withdraw from the band. He promised to write a blog about it soon. Stay tuned.

A "PEACE & SMILE PARADE DREAM LIVE" special program will air on the Nico Nico Live website on March 8. The program will be hosted by Takuya Hoshino, and will include appearances by select members of BORN, ViViD, Kra, D=OUT, Rave, and the LOTUS. PS Company Live DVD Release 2/21

PS Company has decided to release a live DVD on February 21 as part of sales at Takadanobaba AREA. The DVD titled "Kougeki ha Saidai no Bougyo Nari -OFFENSE IS THE BEST DEFENSE-" features performances from bands and artists managed by the company that took place during a live carnival event at Olympus Hall Hachioji on April 5, 2015. the LOTUS Announce New Releases

the LOTUS have announced that they will be issuing two new releases with a new concept titled "-ELIZA-." The first release will be a new, as-yet-untitled single out on December 23. The second installment will be released some time in Spring 2016. They will then launch a new "Awakening "-ELIZA-"" tour in June 2016.

Vif Music has uploaded a new comment from the LOTUS to its official YouTube channel. The new 1:10 minute video features bassist Tsubasa talking about their current one man shows and their recent three consecutive mini album releases.

the LOTUS have announced that they will be releasing two new mini albums this spring. On April 8, the band will release a new album titled "Providence of BIONIC" in two types. The following month, they will release a new album titled "Providence of JESUS" in two types on May 13. Track details for both releases are available on the band's OHP. A PV spot for the upcoming "Providence of BIONIC" is currently available on the PS Company official YouTube channel.

PS Company has released a new trailer for an upcoming concept release from the LOTUS. The new 1:17 minute trailer features the new look and an audio preview of "Providence of BIONIC" from the band's upcoming project titled "Providence." More details will be released soon.

the LOTUS Joins PS Company

the LOTUS has joined PS Company's line up of visual kei bands. The five-member band just released their first mini album "causality" on June 4, and they have uploaded a short PV spot for it to their official YouTube channel. the LOTUS are:  レイ (Ray) on vocals, Ryuto and Rian on guitars, Tsubasa on bass, and Iori on drums.
