PIERROT & DIR EN GREY New DVD Release 12/12

PIERROT and DIR EN GREY recently teamed up for their "ANDROGYNOS" tour, and they have decided to release a couple of live DVD and Blu-ray sets for fans. There will be a video set featuring PIERROT and a separate set featuring DIR EN GREY. All versions will be available after December 12, and pre-orders are already being accepted. Pierrot New Live DVD Release 3/11

PIERROT will be releasing several new live DVD sets on March 11. The new videos will be issued in both DVD and Blu-ray formats, and they will cover the final two days of the band's recent "Dictators Circus" tour. The new releases will include a video set for the October 24 "I SAID 'HELLO'" show, and a set for the October 25 "BIRTHDAY" show, both at Saitama SUPER ARENA. Special boxed sets including both shows will also be available.

PIERROT and WING WORKS Featured on Nico Nico Show 10/13

PIERROT and WING WORKS will be featured on an upcoming Nico Nico web program on October 13. The "WOWOW Plus" show will air at 19:30 JST (convert time here). Time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered users who are not able to watch the show as it airs live. Viewing may be restricted in some areas.

Three Days of PIERROT on Nico Nico

PIERROT will be featured in special broadcasts on the Nico Nico website on three consecutive days, starting August 29. The shows will cover the group's "DICTATORS CIRCUS V," "DICTATORS CIRCUS VI," and "DICTATORS CIRCUS VII" tour final shows spanning years from 2000 to 2005. Shows will air August 29, 30, and 31, starting at 22:00 JST (convert time here) each day. Time shifting is available for registered Nico Nico users who can't watch the programs as they air.

[UPDATE] PIERROT Resumes Activity

PIERROT fans will be happy to know that the band has recently resumed activities. On April 12, the group announced that they would come together again for the first time since disbanding on April 12, 2006. The band has opened a new website with a message promising that they will not be focusing on their image from the past and asking fans to look forward to seeing their current style. UPDATE: In this article, I neglected to mention that the band has announced only two performances, October 24 and 25 at Saitama Super Arena, on their OHP. There is no indication that this reunion will interrupt activities of any PIERROT members' current bands.
