DIV New Album Release 10/23

DIV will be releasing their first full album on October 23. The new album will be called "ZERO ONE," and it will be released in two types. Track lists and other sales details have not yet been announced.

SID New Releases Out 8/21

SID has plans to release two new "Side-B" collection albums on August 21. "Side B complete Collection 〜e.B 2 〜" and "Side B complete Collection 〜e.B 3 〜" will both include eight B-side tracks from 14 of the band's previously released singles. SoniqRush. has made their first maxi single available on iTunes. The digital release of "Screaming" includes two song tracks:  "Screaming" and "Resonance." Sadie New Album Release 10/16

Yoshiki New Album Release 8/27

Live Stream of VAMPS Concert on 7/28

The Nico Nico Live website will be hosting a special live stream concert featuring VAMPS on July 28. The duo's sold-out show at Osaka Zepp Namba will be broadcast live on the video site starting at 19:06 JST (convert time here), with videos headlining from 18:00 JST until the show starts. Time shifting is available for registered Nico Nico users who cannot watch the show as it airs, however, a portion of the live stream is reserved only for Premium members.

MUCC Announces Details for New Releases

MUCC has updated their OHP with information about their upcoming new single and DVD releases. On September 25, the band will be releasing their new single "HALO" in two types. "Pre-listening" to the tracks will be available from a special single-release page on August 6 at 8:06 A.M. and P.M. JST. The following month, MUCC will release a new live DVD, "MUCC Tour 2012-2013 'Shangri-la'," on October 2.

VAMPS "Best Of" Album Details Announced

On the heels of their single release, “AHEAD/REPLAY”, VAMPS has announced plans to release a "best of" album in September. The collection will be called “SEX BLOOD ROCK N’ ROLL,” and it will be released in Europe, the United States, and Japan. Release dates vary by country, with the U.K. version scheduled for September 23, the U.S. version for the 24th, and the Japan version on the 25th. Releases in other countries are planned, but the dates have not yet been decided. The collection will be released in three different versions. girugamesh Announces New Releases

After posting a recent mysterious announcement about future plans on their OHP, girugamesh has finally listed some information about upcoming releases. First up is a new single titled "INCOMPLETE," to be released in two types on September 11. The band's OHP currently features a promotional video clip for the single. They've also announced plans to release a new full album titled "MONSTER" this fall. No details are available for the album, but there is a promise for more details to follow soon.

vistlip Guitarist Explains Neck Brace

Fans of vistlip may have been surprised to see guitarist Umi wearing a neck brace during the band's recent July 9th appearance on a Nico Nico special promoting their new album, "CHRONUS." In a later blog post, the guitarist explained the situation.

After doing several live performances, he began to experience neck pain for which he is undergoing treatment. While he acknowledges that the injury does hurt, he writes that the neck brace is only a safety precaution between tour shows. He assures fans there is no need to worry.

Jupiter Opens Ticket Sales Overseas

Fans of the new band Jupiter who live overseas now have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the upcoming "THE GENESIS" tour in Japan. Anyone planning to travel to Japan during the September to November tour can apply for reserve ticket booking from now until July 21 at 23:59 JST. The tickets sell for 4,000 JPY, and there is a limit of four tickets per person. Payments are accepted via Visa and Mastercard. For more details, visit the band's OHP.

Akemi Oshima Book Available 7/18

Visual kei journalist, promoter, and manager for the band NINJAMAN JAPAN, Akemi Oshima is no stranger to the visual rock scene. On July 18, this "walking dictionary of visual kei"* will release a new book titled "Visual Rock Perfect Disc 500." This 192-page book will list and describe 500 of the most influential and recommended CD releases from the major bands on the scene during the golden age of visual kei. Contributing to the round-table discussion of the albums are Chisato (PENICILLIN), Keiyuh (Kra), and Subaru (Royz). The book's contents will be broken down into the scene's major decades, covering music from the 80s prior to the rise of visual kei up to the modern neo-progressive style. The book retails for 2,310 JPY.

vistlip Special Airs on Nico Nico 7/9

vistlip will appear in a special web show on the Nico Nico Live website on July 9. The show titled "'nico the stlip' ~Arinomama no Bokutachi wo Mite Kudasai~" will air at 19:30 JST (convert time here). Time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered users who cannot watch the program as it airs.

Yeti Mini Album Release 10/9

Yeti has announced that they will release their second mini album on October 9. The new album will be titled "Sansei no Hantai," and it will include six songs.

Euclid Agency Creates International Youtube Channel

Euclid Agency has announced that it has created a new YouTube channel for international fans of its bands, including Golden Bomber, Anli Pollicino, and GUILD. In an effort to reach out to international fans, the company will begin posting videos subtitled in English. The newly subtitled videos will be posted in order of appearance on the other Euclid YouTube channel. Featured now are a variety of Junko's Room shows, hosted by Golden Bomber's Utahiroba Jun.

girugamesh Mysterious OHP Update

girugamesh has been silent since their release of "Zantetsuken" in September 2012, but they have recently updated their OHP with a mysterious new message. In a message labeled "WARNING," the band states that they have "re-examined girugamesh's music up to this point, to stretch and improve themselves, to a level of conflict and potentially violent collisions." The message further promises to reveal the result of this introspection soon. On a page labeled "FREE PREVIEW," the band offers an event advertisement for a free preview of girugamesh "absolute0decision" on July 22 at Shibuya WWW. An Cafe Releases Short PV

After some technical difficulties, An Cafe has finally uploaded a short version PV of the song "ITAI Onna~NO PAIN, NO LOVE? JAPAIN GIRLS in LOVE" to their official YouTube channel. The 1:56 video features a clip of the song and an advertisement for the different versions. The single will be released on July 10.

The band's staff is also happy to announce the creation of an official YouTube channel for An Cafe.

MIYAVI has uploaded a new PV to his official YouTube channel. The 2:56 minute video is for the new song, "Secret," included on the artist's international "MIYAVI" album.
