Recent Nico Raji Show to Re-Broadcast

The recent Nico Raji program featuring PSC musicians Byou (SCREW), Kouki (D=Out), and Tora (Alice Nine) will be rebroadcast on May 5. The show will air at 9:30 JST (convert time here) and is available for time shifting. Time shifting requires registration to the Nico Nico site.

SCREW's Rui Joins Facebook

Shortly after the band SCREW created their Facebook page, bass player, Rui, created a personal page on the social networking site. The musician currently has over 1,700 "likes."

SID to Release 2 New Singles

SID will be releasing two new singles back-to-back. On May 2, the band will release their single "Nokoriga" in three types. Then on May 9, they will release another single called "S" in three types.

LUNA SEA to Release Live DVDs

LUNA SEA will be releasing a new live DVD on May 30. The "First Asian Tour 1999 in Hong Kong / Concert Tour 2000 Brand New Chaos Act II in Taipei" DVD will cover two live concerts in one package.

The band also plans to release a Blu-Ray version of their NHK-VIDEO "One-Night reunion live - over 7 years of silence" on June 20. This disc features backstage footage of the Christmas reunion live in 2007, as well as extras not included elsewhere. Further sales information is not yet available.

Golden Bomber to Release CD Internationally

Golden Bomber plans to re-issue copies of their latest "The Golden Best" album for an international audience. On June 18, new versions are planned for release in The United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Korea, and Taiwan. The song tracks and title will vary for each country. The new release will come from the Atlantic Records portion of Warner Music.

PSC Visual Battle Royale Airs 4/28

PS Company bands will hold their latest Visual Battle Royale program on Nico Nico on Saturday, April 28. The show, hosted by Tora and Shou (Alice Nine), will feature members from Alice Nine, ViViD, D=Out, and SCREW. The show will begin at 14:00 JST (convert time here). Angelo to Release New Single 6/27

Angelo will be releasing a new single on June 27. The new single is being marketed as a "double A-side" single called "RIP/MOMENT" with song tracks of the same names. The single will be released in three types. No further sales details are yet available at online retailers.

Versailles Digital Single Release Today

Versailles Philharmonic Quintet released a new digital single today. The new single, "Rhapsody of the Darkness," is currently available via iTunes and Amazon's MP3 Store. The release includes the title track and an additional song called, "Illusion."

The musicJAPANplus GIG vol. 3 live event took place at Tokyo's SHIBUYA O-EASTon March 16. The show featured bands like Anli Pollicino, AND, PENICILLIN, SuG. and LM.C. The site has recently announced that they will make a digest version of this show available live via the Nico Nico website. London-based visual band Esprit D'Air announced via their Facebook that they are in the process of re-recording one of the tracks from their "Deai" EP. The band plans to release the revamped song as a free digital download as soon as they finish. Follow them on Facebook for updates.

Band Feature: Black Gene for the Next Scene

Black Gene for the Next Scene is a 4-member band that formed late in the summer of 2011. The members were organized by ex-Vidoll member Rame, who plays bass. The band formed with the musical concept of something they call “rowdy modern trance” with the aim of creating a new genre of catchy, heavy tunes.

So far, Black Gene for the Next Scene has released one maxi single and plans to release their second in July 2012. They have also released a digital single through global music download website Hear Japan 2.0. They have appeared on a past episode of Akemi Oshima’s Viju☆Love☆Cafe show, as well as the upcoming Mad tea party MAGAZINE Vol.12 and the accompanying photo book from visual band D.

Nightmare to Release Budokan DVD & CD

Nightmare will be releasing their 2011-2012 Tour Final performance at Nippon Budokan on DVD and CD. The "NIGHTMARE TOUR 2011-2012 Nightmarish reality TOUR FINAL at Nippon Budokan" DVD will be released on June 6 in two types. The band will also be releasing a CD of the live show on the same date. CD Japan sales warns that this title is not final and may change before release.

SuG Releases "Howling Magic" PV Preview

Miyavi to Perform at Kubana Festival

Miyavi will be performing at the Kubana Festival in Krasnodarskiy Kray, Russia. The Samurai Guitarist will make his appearance on August 2, 2012. The festival will last from August 1 to August 5.
