Danger Crue Records has uploaded a new web show featuring Kameleo to its official YouTube channel. The new episode is titled "Kame Channel vol. 29," and it features over 30 minutes of the band chatting and celebrating at their year-end bounenkai party.

Golden Bomber Special Airs 12/31

lynch. Loses Member

lynch. has announced via their OHP that bassist Akinori will be leaving the band. Recently it was announced that the bassist had been arrested, and the charge has now been disclosed as possession of marijuana in violation of Japanese law. In a series of Twitter statements, vocalist Hazuki announced that the band and staff had several discussions about what they wanted to do, whether to become indie, take a hiatus, or whether they should continue as a five-member band. They ultimately decided it would be unfair to their label, to staff, and to members to ignore the incident and refrain from activities, and they decided to continue as a four-member band. Akinori voluntarily left the group and apologized to everyone for his actions.

MEJIBRAY Announces New Releasese in 2017

MEJIBRAY have updated their OHP with news of a re-issued release and two new releases coming out in 2017. On March 1, the band will release their fifth live DVD, titled "-NO MOUTH SLIVERS- TOUR FINAL at Yokohama Bay Hall." On April 5, they will re-release their first single collection, titled "SM." On May 3, the band will release a new singles collection, titled "SM #2." Track details for all of these releases are available on the band's website.

Purple Stone will be releasing their sixth single on February 1, 2017. The new single will be titled "Poison Chocolate," and it will be released in three types. Track details are already available on the band's OHP.

Link Last Single & Disbandment

There's good and bad news for fans of Link. The band has announced via their OHP that they will be releasing a new single on January 11, 2017. The single will be titled "Departure," and it will be the band's last release. They have also announced that they will disband after their live show at Shinsaibashi soma on March 18, 2017. They thank fans for their support, but after many discussion, they have decided to go their own ways.

Koshi Announces Solo Album Plan

Koshi, formerly guitarist for DIALITE, has announced plans to release a new solo album sometime in the spring of 2017. The solo album would include some of the sound recordings he's been working on, and he will invite a guest vocalist to record the song tracks. The artist has also worked with vocalist Mahiro (ex-DIALITE) as a unit called Anywhere to release a single track this fall. No specific details are available yet.

Gigamous Announces Hiatus

On December 1, Gigamous announced that they would be temporarily suspending activities. Vocalist Shiki announced that he would be leaving the band on March 31, 2017, and as a result, the band has decided to go on hiatus. The announcement indicates that Shiki has decided not to continue a career in music, but rather has a different path in mind for expressing himself. This feeling ultimately led him to this decision to leave the band. The band thanks fans for their support and apologizes for the sudden announcement. XEPPET New Band Announcement

XEPPET is a new band that made their debut on November 15 at Ikebukuro blackhole. The band doesn't seem to have an official website yet, but they do have an official Twitter account and a YouTube channel. Their YouTube channel currently features a digest video from their demonstration performance on November 15. Members are Yoshiaki on vocals, XIN on guitar, MZK on bass, and Takuto on drums. Universal Music Japan has added a new video for VAMPS to its official YouTube channel. The new video features a minute-long release spot for the duo's upcoming "History -The Complete Video Collection 2008-2014" DVD and Blu-ray release. That MV collection hits stores on December 14.

XIX -nineteen- New Band Announcement

A new band called XIX -nineteen- has formed. The group doesn't seem to have a formal website yet, but they have posted some introductory videos to their official YouTube channel. The band debuted on November 20 at Takadanobaba AREA. Members are NANA on vocals, Tomo and Juri on guitars, Kousuke on bass, and Isamu on drums.
