XAA XAA Cancel Performance Due to Accident

XAA XAA staff announced via the band's OHP that their lives scheduled for October 29 at Shibuya Grad, October 30 at Shinjuku BLAZE, and Shinsaibashi VARON will be cancelled due to the band and staff being involved in a traffic accident. After their live show at Amerikamura DROP on October 27, the band and staff were involved in a traffic accident while traveling to Tokyo. Fortunately the only injuries were bumps and bruises, but the band was unable to perform as scheduled. No arrangement for rescheduling the cancelled show has been decided yet.

DUGLY New Band

New visual band DUGLY opened an official website on October 10. The band is offering their first mini album, "Watashi to Anata no Jittai Kyoukasho," at their live venue appearances. Members are:  Siyu on vocals, Licht on guitar, Kagra on bass, and Rea on drums. Members already have social media accounts for fans to follow.

vistlip updated their official Facebook page with information that they will now add content that announces their news and information to overseas fans. In a video comment subtitled in English, the band talks about their upcoming releases and tours, and they promise to upload more content to Facebook in the future.

vistlip Artist Book Release

vistlip has decided to release a new artist book to commemorate their tenth anniversary year. The book will cover the period from their "Encounter the Phantoms" tour to their "Guns of Liberty" tour, and it will contain photographs, interviews, and live reports. The photo book will be released sometime in February 2018, but mail order requests will be taken from October 31, 2017 to January 12, 2018. Sales are limited to online purchases.

Earlier this year, vistlip announced that they would be doing three consecutive months of releases, starting in November. Information for the previously untitled December 6th release has now been  updated on the band's OHP. That single, the band's 20th, will be titled "Timer." Aldious New Album Release Announced

Aldious has announced that they will release another new album this year. The tentative release date is November 29, but the band has not yet announced song tracks or the expected title. They do specify that the album will be released in two types with a third limited analog with a serial number release to be sold only by the VAA online store. KAMIJO has updated his OHP with news of two new releases coming in 2018. On January 16, the artist will release a new single titled "NOSFERATU." Later in March, he will release a new album titled "Sang" with the dual concept of "to sing" in English and "blood" in French. The artist hopes to create the image of beautiful melodies serving as a substitute for blood. Details for that release aren't available yet.

ASTARIA Announces Guitarist Departure

ASTARIA has announced via their OHP that guitarist Yuduki withdrew from band activities on September 30. The guitarist was diagnosed with purulent spondylitis and a hernia that will worsen over time with continued vigorous movement. His doctor has advised that long-term rest is the best way to relieve his symptoms. Due to mental and physical exhaustion, Yuduki decided to withdraw from the band. The band apologizes for the sudden announcement, but they will also suspend activities after their November 3 performance in Nagoya. The four remaining member will continue to make in-store appearances. Statements from individual members are available on the band's OHP following the formal announcement.

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 074, due to hit stores October 25. The front cover artist for this issue will be Ken, and the back cover artist will be Issei (BugLug). MUCC Announce Hiatus & Tribute Album

MUCC updated their OHP with a very brief statement that the band would be suspending activities for the first time in their history. The break will begin in 2018, and will last for about three months. They want to assure fans that they do plan to return in three months' time. In other news, the band will also be featured in an upcoming tribute album to commemorate their 20th anniversary. The album will be titled "TRIBUTE OF MUCC -en-," and it will feature covers from bands like cali≠gari, Kishidan, Sho Kiryuin, THE ORAL CIGARETTES, DEZERT, Plastic Tree, MERRY, lynch. and more. The tribute will be released on November 22, and the complete track list and artist lineup is available on the band's OHP.
