Viju☆Love☆Cafe, hosted by Akemi Oshima and Buju the Cat, will air on Sunday, June 3. The web show appears via the visualand.tv website at 14:00 JST (convert time here). Poltergeist to Release New Full Album

Poltergeist will be releasing a new full album on June 13. The new album will be called "Monochrome Subliminal," and it will include 10 tracks as well as a bonus DVD. The band's OHP lists the release date as June 13, however, CD Japan lists the release date as July 4.

London-based visual band Esprit D'Air announced today via their Facebook page that they soon will be releasing a new single. The new single will be called "SHIZUKU," and it will be available as  a free download. More details will come soon from the band.

Newest MUCC Singles Available for Download

"Arcadia" and "Nirvana," the two newest single releases from visual band MUCC, are now available for MP3 download on iTunes and Amazon MP3. The "Arcadia" release features the title track, as well as the coupling tracks "Name" and the Thunder Groove version of "Fuzz." The newest "Nirvana" release includes the accompanying tracks of "Balse," the Warehouse version of "Saishuu Ressha," and the version of the title track re-mixed by Moonbug. This Nirvana mix is exclusive in that the track selection available as iTunes and Amazon downloads was previously available only by purchasing all three CD single versions.

The singles are currently available in in North and South America. They will be released in Europe after May 25.

LM.C to Release New DVD & Video Sample

LM.C will be releasing a new live DVD on May 16. The "Rock the Party 2012 at Nippon Budokan" DVD will feature the band's fifth anniversary concert at the famous venue on January 8, 2012. The DVD release will include 26 tracks and backstage footage. Sample video footage from this show also appears on the band's Official YouTube channel.

Band Feature: amber gris

amber gris is a 5-member band from Tokyo that formed in February 2009. From August to October of that year, the band played secret live sessions in Tokyo before beginning formal live activities. Their first live was in October at Takadonobaba AREA in Tokyo. amber gris had their first Oneman live on October 17, 2010.

The band released their first single, "Joku 8000ft -Shonen wa Tengoku e Todokunoka1-" on October 17, 2009. Since that single, they have released two maxi singles, one single, three artbook CDs, one mini album, one full album, and one live DVD. The band's next single, "The Collapsing Garden," will be released on June 27, 2012.

GALEYD Plans Two New Releases

GALEYD will soon be releasing two new CDs. On May 23, the band will release a new single titled, "Loaded," which will include three songs. On June 27, they will be releasing another single, "Destiny," which will include three songs and a music clip on DVD.

These releases complete a series of three consecutive months' worth of singles, collectively titled "G L D." The first release in April was "Genesis."

Kiryuuin Sho Writes Book

Golden Bomber's vocalist, Kiryuuin Sho, has announced that he will be publishing a book on May 17.  The book will be titled "Golden Bomber no Vocaru dakedo Nanka Shitsumon Aru?" (Something roughly like "This is Golden Bomber's Vocalist, do you have any questions?") The book is promised to be an autobiography of the performer's life and musical vision.

An Cafe Plans 2012 European Tour

An Cafe announced plans to do a European live tour later this year. The "LIVE CAFE TOUR 2012
NYAPPY GO AROUND THE WORLD III ~TADAIMA o(≧∀≦)o OKAERI o(≧∀≦)o～" will kick off on November 3 in Moscow, Russia, and end on November 20 in Berlin, Germany. Their OHP includes a complete listing of tour dates and times. This renewed activity comes after a two-year pause in band activity.

musicJAPANplus will be hosting two live talk programs featuring bands who have contributed to the new  "Counteraction -V-Rock covered Visual Anime songs Compilation-" CD to be released May 23. The programs will be hosted by DJ Asai and will feature one member of the participating band as a guest. Band members will be named on May 2.
