On December 1, Gigamous announced that they would be temporarily suspending activities. Vocalist Shiki announced that he would be leaving the band on March 31, 2017, and as a result, the band has decided to go on hiatus. The announcement indicates that Shiki has decided not to continue a career in music, but rather has a different path in mind for expressing himself. This feeling ultimately led him to this decision to leave the band. The band thanks fans for their support and apologizes for the sudden announcement.
