Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists
who will be featured in volume 064, due to hit stores February 26. The
front
cover artist for this issue will be Hisashi Imai (BUCK-TICK, SCHAFT), and back cover
artist will be maya (LM.C). Other
featured
artists
will be: KAMIJO, Hiyori Isshiki (Kiryu), Kouki (D=OUT), K (BORN), Tomoya (Royz), SORA (DEZERT), Karma (AvelCain), Val (DuelJewel), KISAKI (Lin), and a special talk from Aoi x JIN (HERO).

It's funny... Imai finally get his magazine coverage after he's long released his SCHAFT / "ULTRA" album and finished the tour... it's like he and the band weren't as much eye candy so they skipped over them until the album came out and was solid enough to grab attention.
ReplyDeleteWhile all magazines are ultimately aimed at promotion, ROCK AND READ is one of the rare ones that seems to focus more on the artist as art than whatever product or tour they are currently promoting. It's one of my favorites for this reason; they have amazing concept photo shoots and really in-depth articles. They also seem to follow a theme where issues feature all guitarists, all vocalists, etc.
