Nightmare Announces Hiatus

Nightmare has announced via their OHP that they will be taking a hiatus at the end of the year. The band statement indicates that they decided to pause activities for health reasons. It was previously announced that vocalist Yomi has developed functional dysphonia, a disorder of the vocal chords that affects voice quality and stamina. In a personal statement, Yomi announces that his treatment will require a little more time for recovery. The band does state that they plan to aim for their 20th anniversary, and to maintain their performance quality, they believe this break is needed to reach that goal. Individual members will continue solo activities during the hiatus. They apologize to fans for the sudden announcement, but ask them not to worry.
