KAMIJO Announces Special Show

KAMIJO is collaborating with CD Japan to offer a special bonus to fans who buy his upcoming "Sang" CD from that website. If you buy "Sang" from CD Japan, you will gain access to a special mini acoustic concert and talk show that will be broadcast on July 8. Versailles Announces World Tour 2017

Versailles has announced that they will be doing a 10th Anniversary World Tour this year. This year's tour will kick off in September and includes stops in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Look for locations and dates on the band's OHP.

ROCK AND READ Announced 072 Lineup

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 072, due to hit stores June 21. The front cover artist for this issue will be Kyo (sukekiyo), and the back cover artist will be Sakito (JAKIGAN MEISTER). Other featured artists will be: KOHTA (Angelo), Ken Ken (Plastic Tree), KAMIJO (Versailles), Ruiza (D), You (BugLug), Natsu (NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST), Atsuki (Pentagon), Kousuke (LEZARD), Kuga (LIPHLICH), and kyo (D'ERLANGER).

Versailles DVD Release 6/28

Versailles has announced that they will release a new live DVD on June 28. The new release will feature performances from their "CHATEAU DE VERSAILLES AT NIPPONBUDOKAN" show on February 14. There will be a limited edition and a regular edition release.

HIZAKI DVD Now on Sale

Versailles New Best Album Release 9/14

Versailles have announced that they will release a new best album on September 14. The new release will be titled "The Greatest Hits 2007-2016" and it will be released in two types. Track details can be found on the band's renewed OHP.

HIZAKI, guitarist for Jupiter and Versailles, has announced that he will be releasing a solo album on August 3. This guitar instrumental album will be titled "Rosario," and it will be released in two types.

KAMIJO Announces Guests for 12/28 Tour Final

Solo artist KAMIJO has announced an all-star guest list for his December 28th World Tour 2015 final show at ZEPP DiverCity Tokyo. To celebrate his 20th anniversary, the artist will invite members of his former bands LAREINE, NEW SODMY, and Versailles to appear during the show. There is also a new video on the Warner Music Japan official YouTube channel announcing Versailles return to the stage for this show, the first time in three years the group will perform together. KAMIJO Special Airs on Nico Nico 3/5

KAMIJO will be appearing in a special broadcast on the Nico Nico website on March 5. The "KAMIJO & Versailles Nico Nama SP" program will begin airing at 20:00 JST (convert time here) to commemorate the artist's solo debut. The program will also feature guest musician HIZAKI (Versailles, Jupiter). Time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered members.

Jupiter New Album Release 8/28

Newly formed Jupiter will be releasing their first full album on August 28. The new album will be called "CLASSICAL ELEMENT," and it will be released in three types. The band's debut single, "Blessing of the Future," will be released on July 24.

KAMIJO to Release Debut Single

KAMIJO, formerly the vocalist for Versailles, has published a video introducing his intention to release a new single for his solo debut. The 1:03 minute video trailer is available on the vocalist's YouTube channel, and it promises that "The Master is back" on August 28, 2013 with a new single titled "Louis."

Jupiter to Release Single 7/24

New band Jupiter has announced plans to release their first single on July 24. The new single will be titled "Blessing of the Future," and it will be released in two types. Jupiter features HIZAKI, TERU, YUKI, and MASASHI from Versailles, and vocalist ZIN.

Jupiter Features Members of Versailles

In announcements made during a live talk and through various online venues, new comes in that several members of Versailles have joined together with a new vocalist to form a band called Jupiter. The new band will feature HIZAKI and TERU on guitars, MASASHI on bass, YUKI on drums, and ZIN on vocals. The band already has a new OHP, as well as a 2:26 minute introduction video on their official YouTube channel. They have announced plans to release their debut single, "Blessing of the Future," during the summer of this year, and they will be making their debut performance at the "stylish wave EXTRA '13" event to be held at Club Citta in Kawasaki on April 21.

Versailles Tour Final DVD Release 4/10

Versailles will be releasing a final tour DVD on April 10. The new DVD will feature the "Chateau De Versailles -Final-" performance held at Tokyo NHK Hall on December 20, 2012, and it will be issued in two types. This was the last live performance of the band before their hiatus.

"Suggestive" New Session Band

Several visual kei musicians have come together to form a new session band called "Suggestive," and the group has already begun selling tickets for a performance scheduled at Takadanobaba AREA on March 20. The special session called "Re:unity" will celebrate the birthday of ex-SuG drummer Shinpei.

The band lineup is as follows:

Versailles New Compilation Album 1/30/13

Versailles has announced plans to release a final compilation album on January 30, 2013. The album will be titled "Anthologie," and it will include a selection of songs produced during the band's time with Warner Music Japan. The Limited and Regular Editions will both include 14 song tracks, and the Limited Edition will also include a bonus audio CD of five live music recordings from various concerts. Versailles Collaboration & iTunes Release

Versailles may be stopping band activity at the end of 2012, but they are still going strong in the time remaining. Versailles and Japanese jewelry company Artemis Classic have teamed up for a collaboration project. The exclusive line of Versailles memorial accessories are available in the Artemis Classic online store starting today, featuring a variety of pendants and rings to complement each band member.

Versailles' new self-titled album is also now available on iTunes in North America. The "Versailles" album was released on September 26, and features new songs as well as recent single releases like "Rose" and "Rhapsody of the Darkness." The album sells for $10.99 in the United States. Check your local iTunes store for listings in other countries.
