An Cafe Announces Plan to Stop Activities

An Cafe has updated their OHP with news that they plan to stop activities after their "LIVE CAFE 15th Anniversary Year Grand Finale" show at EX THEATER ROPPONGI on January 15, 2019. The report states that on reaching their 15th anniversary, they had been discussing future activities. Takuya and Yuuki decided that they have accomplished their musical goals and are finished with band activities. Kanon and Teruki decided they would like to pursue other musical goals. Miku remains the only member who wants to make music and continue as An Cafe. Since they could not agree and continue with these five members, they decided to stop activities. They thank fans for supporting them during their 15 years as a band. Members offer individual statements on the OHP.

An Cafe has added a new video to their official YouTube channel. The new video includes a nearly two-minute long video spot for the band's new song titled "Negaigoto wa 1tsusa." The single of the same title will be released on March 28.

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 065, due to hit stores April 27. Nico Viju Special Airs 8/30

A special 24 hour visual rock event will be airing on the Nico Nico website on August 30th. The "24 Hour Konbangya" special promises to offer a variety of special guest appearances. A complete schedule of events is listed in the program's description area. The show will air at 17:00 JST (time zone converter), and time shifting is available for registered Nico Nico users who can't watch it as it airs. The show is hosted by Takuya Hoshino.

Visual Collaboration Special Airs 8/14

A visual collaboration special program will air on the Nico Nico website on August 14. The "Mujack x Nico Viju Collaboration Special," will air at 21:00 JST (convert time here), and promises to include talk sessions with artists like KIBA (Gargoyle), Shinya (LUNA SEA), IZAM, Tatsuro (MUCC), Igaguri Chiba (Sendai Kamotsu), DAISHI & Lida (Psycho le Cemu), Miku & Teruki (An Cafe), Tomo & Umi (vistlip), yo-ka & Kei (DIAURA), RYUICHI & Koichi (GUILD), and members of Jin-Machine. Time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered users who are not able to watch the show as it airs live.

An Cafe have announced that they will make their major debut with a new single release on August 26. The new single will be titled "Sennen DIVE!!!!!," and it will be released in eight types. The regular B-Type edition will include only one song each, but each cover will include art featuring a different band member.

Music magazine ROCK AND READ has announced the list of artists who will be featured in volume 060, due to hit stores June 24. The front cover artist for this issue will be Show (A9).
