Awoi to Appear at Anime North 5/25

Awoi will be a special musical guest at Canada's next Anime North convention at the Toronto Congress Centre and Doubletree International Plaza Hotel in Toronto, Canada. Awoi will be performing on Saturday, May 25, during the convention, which runs from May 24 through 26. The band will appear in association with Face Music and J-rock North Promotions, Inc. Awoi will be releasing a new single on April 3.

For their 10th anniversary, An Cafe has announced on their Facebook fan page that they intend to make access to their FC BondS fan club available to fans overseas. STAND UP! JAPAN Event Airs 3/16

On March 16, Takanori Nishikawa, a.k.a. T.M.Revolution, will host the third special STAND UP! JAPAN charity event. The event has been held each year since the Great East Japan Earthquake in March 2011, and it aims to both boost the spirits of those affected by the quake and raise money to help them through a charity event. This seven-hour program will be broadcast via the Nico Nico website on March 16 at 15:00 JST (convert time here) and feature a variety of notable celebrity figures and musicians.

It is not necessary to have a Nico Nico account to watch, but time shifting is available for those who do and cannot watch the entire show as it airs.

Alice Nine New Release Details

Alice Nine has released more details about the second of their three consecutive single releases. The second release, titled "SHADOWPLAY," will be released on April 17 in two types. Release details state that the title song was written by vocalist Shou, his first song since the December 2011 release of "Niji no Yuki." Pre-ordering is now available, and track listings are available on the band's OHP.

ToshI New Releases & Pre-orders 3/27

ToshI, vocalist for X JAPAN and solo artist, has announced plans for a global release of two new items. On March 27, the musician will release his first solo album, "CHERRY BLOSSOM," and a new single, "Love Is MARIA," to a global audience. The full album will include a total of eight tracks, and the single will include the title track and a karaoke version.

Both items will be released through iTunes, Amazon, and other digital services in 111 countries on March 27. Pre-orders for the CD versions will also begin on March 27, with the actual hard copies being released through the official website on April 16. vistlip Single Release Details & Clips

vistlip has updated their OHP to provide details and sample clips for their upcoming single release, "Chimera," due out April 3. The band's OHP homepage now features a short video clip of the title song's PV, as well as a link to the single's information on the discography page. Viewing the New Release section of the Discography page will show audio sample clips for the songs included on all three different versions of the single.

Vandalism Reported at hide.'s Grave

Vandalism has been reported at the gravesite of famed X Japan guitarist and solo artist, hide. In an statement on the hide-city official website, HEADWAX ORGANIZATION CO.,LTD.
 announced that they have temporarily closed the musician's grave at Miura Reien in Miura City (Kanagawa Prefecture) to the public. This follows reports of hide's tombstone having been intentionally damaged with a sharp object, as well as general theft of pictures, littering, pouring alcohol on the stone, and other unruly behavior. In light of these actions, the management company has decided to temporarily close the site. They also offer specific reminders for fans to observe proper graveside etiquette when visiting.

DaizyStripper Airs on Nico Nico 3/11

DaizyStripper will appear in the tenth episode of their Nico Nico Live web program on March 11. The program titled "DaizyStripper Yugiri & Kazami's 'Kocchi ni Mosshu!' #10" will air at 21:00 JST (convert time here), and time shifting will be available for Nico Nico registered users who cannot watch the show as it airs.

DaizyStripper 5 Consecutive Months of Releases

DaizyStripper has announced plans to issue five consecutive months of releases, starting in May. On May 15, the band plans to release their eleventh single, "STARGAZER." Future untitled releases are scheduled for June 12, July 17, August 14, and September 15.

Matenrou Opera Comment on Vif Music YouTube

Vif Music has uploaded a new comment video from Matenrou Opera on their official YouTube Channel. Vocalist Sono and guitarist Anzi comment on the band's new album, "Kassai to Gekijou no Gloria," to be released March 3, and their upcoming "GLORIA TOUR."

Kra's New PV Preview Available

Kra has made a short promotional video clip for their new song, "Alice," available on their OHP. This song will be included on the band's newest album release, "Joker's KINGDOM," out February 27. They have also provided a link to their official PS Company Nico Nico channel, where fans can find a furitsuke video for "Resistance."

Bakuretsu! Nightmare Airs 3/26
