ice, formerly vocalist for Black Gene for the Next Scene, has announced his solo debut with news of a new single out on April 26. The new release will be titled "Ame wa Shidai ni Yowamaru," and it will include three song tracks. Details are available on the artist's OHP.

Toki, formerly guitarist for Black Gene for the Next Scene, has opened a new website. The site includes a cover image of the musician's updated look, as well as a list of live show dates. Fans can follow his Twitter and blog; links are provided to both.

A "stylish wave COUNTDOWN '15-'16" live special will air on the Nico Nico Live website on December 31. The stylish wave show will include appearances by D=OUT, GOTCHAROCKA, SCREW, BORN, Black Gene for the Next Scene, Grieva, Jin, AvelCain, Belle, Gigamous, ensoku, Kuroyuri to Kage, RoNo☆Cro, Smileberry, and Shounenki. The show starts at 15:30 JST (convert time here), and time shifting is available for Nico Nico registered members who cannot watch the show as it airs.

Black Gene for the Next Scene Announces Activity Pause & Releases

Black Gene for the Next scene recently updated their OHP with some important announcements. The band has announced that they will stop activity after their April 10, 2016 show at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. They thank fans for supporting them for the past four years, but they came to the mutual decision that stopping activity was for the best. The announcement also states that the band would like time to reconsider their music activities and perhaps resume activity in the future. In addition, they announce that they will release on final live DVD on January 13, 2016 and one final best album on Feburary 3, 2016. The Shattered Tranquility site has translated member statements about the break up on their site.

Sendai Kamotsu & Black Gene for the Next Scene Show Airs 9/1

Sendai Iamotsu and Black Gene for the Next Scene will be the next featured guests on the web show called "Nico Viju." The show airs on the Nico Nico Live site on September 1 starting at 16:00 JST (time zone converter). Time shifting is available for registered Nico Nico users who can't watch the show as it airs. This show is hosted by Takuya Hoshino.

Black Gene for the Next Scene has updated their OHP with new announcements. A new guitarist, SAN, will be joining the band for their March 1 show at Shinjuku ReNY. SAN appears on the band's OHP with several new artist photos. A new single titled "Uragaeri" is also expected to be released in three types on April 22, though no details have been officially announced.

Sala to Leave Black Gene for the Next Scene

Sala, drummer for Black Gene for the Next Scene, has announced that he will be leaving the band. His last performance with the band will be their January 4 show at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM. Sala has decided to leave for personal reasons, citing that bridging the distance between what his image of a drummer should be and his current situation is impossible. He also states that he will be retiring completely from the music scene.

Black Gene for the Next Scene have made a new commercial spot available on their official YouTube channel. The minute-long clip features a cut of the PV for the new "'D.D.D.'~Dead.Devil.Dancing~" single. That single release is due out in four types on July 30.
