Alice Nine vocalist Shou announced in his blog that he will be adding the role of band leader to his current band duties. The decision was made and endorsed by the entire band, and the announcement assures fans that this does not pose any significant change in band member lineup or activities. The formal announcement was made after a published comment about the role change caused confusion among fans. The position was previously held by drummer Nao, who remains in his position as drummer.

Alice Nine to Release New Single in December
Alice Nine will be releasing a new single on December 21, 2011. The new single, 「虹の雪」(Niji no Yuki), was composed by vocalist, Shou. The Limited Edition versions of this single will included live DVD footage from their 7th THEATER anniversary live on September 9, 2011. The Regular Edition will include a bonus track new version of 「 闇ニ散ル桜」 (Yami ni Chiru Sakura).
